Understanding that site architecture and application development has a profound impact on its ability to become a marketing engine, iTMG sees business systems as integrated engines of productivity, creativity and content, each component helping to enhance the other. This is the fastest way to enhance the power of all sectors of a business to get its message to its prospective clients.
With over 600 projects over 13 years under our belts, iTMG has not only grown its technical expertise but has developed a deep understanding of client expectations and management.
Portfolio
Liquid Capital Corp
- iTMG made extensive use of MODX Contexts and Permissions to design a Syndication Portal Engine for the Liquid Capital Corp franchise.
The multi-site Portal not only manages 60+ sites (contexts), but allows for Head Office to manage what its franchise owners is and is not permitted to change within their satellite sites. In addition, when Head Office makes a change to a "top-owned" page, its changes are automatically passed down (syndicated) to all the relevant satellite context pages throughout the entire portal automatically and instantly.
This model is completely abstracted such that any page type can be created at Head Office level and syndicated with its own pre-determined ACL. This level of freedom now allows iTMG to scale for the client a wide array of new site development based on this platform.
And finally, as this is a Portal Engine for a franchise, iTMG built a territory management engine such that any franchise owner "owns" their geographic region, is searchable by postal/zip code which is, in turn, tied to their satellite site context.
Turner & Porter Funeral Management System
- Turner & Porter was under significant stress over its inability to properly manager their daily funeral listings including their wide range of locations. Additionally, they were under pressure to differentiate themselves from competitors who were often all using the same hosted 3rd party system all with a similar look and feel.
iTMG installed MODX system (Evo) and created an embedded application module to create, edit funeral listings, locations, and cemeteries across 6 funeral home locations.
Future upgrade plans include expanded planning information sections and visitor flower purchasing directly integrated into a listing.
Holiday Helpers charity management
- Charities are so often under-funded and needing to focus their resources on the people that need help the most. Holiday Helpers provides gifts, dinners and clothing to families around Toronto at Christmas time and contacted iTMG because they recognized that their workflow management of donations and volunteers was inadequate and creating much confusion and duplication of labour. As resources were limited, iTMG created a simple but effective use of MODX user groups to handle incoming volunteer-matching to specific tasks and timeslots; as well as a donation mechanism tying into PayPal.
