Help Ready the Release of Revolution 2.2.5

In the next two weeks (on or around Oct 1) we will release MODX Revolution 2.2.5. In the time leading up to this release, we would ask everyone interested in testing to help ensure all major issues are resolved and no new issues have been introduced.

Starting today you can download timestamped versions of the impending release to test with updated versions daily or as changes are integrated. We will post new testing versions in this forum post.

Your Issues

If you reported issues or requested improvements recently, please review them and make any updates or provide additional insight so that we can try to get those into 2.2.5. We want to make sure we resolve as many important issues as possible but it's possible we may miss some that have fallen out of view.

Translations

If you are are a translator updating a lexicon in MODX, now is time to start if you haven't been monitoring the updates. Submit your pull-requests to the release-2.2 branch (not to develop). For more information on translations you can take a look at this forum post.

Important Dates

  • September 24th, 2012: Pull Request Cutoff.
  • September 28, 2012: Lexicon Update Deadline.
  • October 1, 2012: Projected Release Date (subject to change)

We look foreward to closing out lots of bugs and issues in this the 2.2.5 release with your help. Lets make it a rock-solid release together.
