Help Ready Revolution 2.2.7 for Release

In the next couple of weeks (on or around April 9) we will release MODX Revolution 2.2.7. In the time leading up to this release, we invite everyone interested in testing to help ensure all major issues are resolved and no new issues have been introduced.

This version includes a new setting (cache_alias_map) to turn off the mapping which caches URLs, per context (all the urls to pages) which will enable sites with huge numbers of resources to perform better. 100,000 Resources uses ~130Mb RAM on & ~24Mb off.

Starting today you can download timestamped versions of the impending release to test with updated versions daily or as changes are integrated. We will post new testing versions in this forum post.

Issues Found in Testing

If you find new issues while testing, please post them in the Revo project tracker so we can correct them prior to release. New features, minor or trivial issues will likely be prioritized for an upcoming release as appropriate.

Translations

If you are are a translator updating a lexicon in MODX, now is time to start if you haven't been monitoring the updates. Submit your pull-requests to the release-2.2 branch (not to develop). For more information on translations you can take a look at this forum post.
