A Great UI is Invisible

It’s no secret the MODX Manager, while really powerful and robust, comes with an acclimation curve. There have been many disucssions and interesting reads on the subject of UI and UX over all of MODX lately, including mentions in the opening keynote at MODXpo EU last November.A Great UI is Invisible, by the awesome folks at Codrops, resonated with me recently: “Interfaces should provide seamless interactions with the data and content and inspire the user to build a better relationship with it. Users do enjoy navigating a clever UI and in some cases have fun using them, but most often a user is inspired by an interface that isn’t there at all.”

While you’re at it you should check out more of the awesome articles at Codrops. I personally look forward to their collectives and always look through them—tons of awesome experiements and inspirations for UIs.
