It brings a fresh collection of improvements to enhance system stability and user experience. From resolving the upgrade version display in the Manager to fixing thumbnail challenges with complex filenames, PHP 8.4 compatibility to updated Lexicons, version 3.0.6 represents our ongoing commitment to refining and polishing the MODX platform.

Should You Upgrade to Revo 3.0.6? 🤔

TL;DR: Heck yes! But be smart and and make sure to test your site and upgrade all your Extras first.

If you’re still staying with the 2.x release, that’s okay, but be sure to keep abreast of its latest release. We’ll continue to support 2.8.x for now, but 3.x is the present and future—and 3.1 is coming soon!

  2. Upgrade your Extras for a smooth ride.
  3. While you’re in the Extras Installer, do some spring cleaning by purging old package versions.
