We’re excited to release MODX Revolution 3.1.1, a patch update that focuses on key bug fixes, UI refinements, and system optimizations. This update ensures smoother operation, improved Manager experience, and enhanced stability. Let’s dive into what’s new!

Dashboard & Manager UI Improvements

  • Fallback for widgets in custom manager themes: Ensures custom themes display widgets correctly. #16705
  • Fix manager menu for sql_mode "ANSI_QUOTES": No more menu issues when using strict SQL modes. #16680
  • Fix navbar z-index issue: Keeps navigation elements where they should be. #16690
  • Fix for MODX updates widget: Ensures accurate and up-to-date MODX version information. #16694
  • Fixes missing "Install" button in the Packages Grid: It now displays the correct buttons in the Installer #16675
