About Snow Creative

Partner with Us for a Website that Works the Way You Want It To

If you want a website that is easy to navigate, easy to update, and built with the future in mind, look no further! We delight in creating the most user-friendly websites possible, for both you and your visitors. With more than twenty years of experience in the web field, we are known for our technical know-how, friendly support, unparalleled expertise, and dedication to perfection. Based in New York, we’ve been active MODX developers and programmers since 2009, and have built well over 100 sites with it to date.

Whether your website is simple or complex, content management will be a pleasure for you — not a chore. We are known for creating innovative solutions that support easy and efficient management of all sorts of website content.

We pay attention to details like site structure, navigation, text heading levels, relative weight of design elements, and other things that make for a website that is inviting and easy to use. We love it when so many of our clients email us after their site goes live, saying how easy it is for them to update their own site, and how much their visitors love how it looks and works.

With MODX, the Sky’s the Limit

We are firm believers in a modular approach, which means that we recognize that it is unlikely that one piece of software, no matter how good it is, will be great at everything. Using what is best in each piece of software, we combine them to create a custom setup that really works for you; this way you won’t need to adapt to a system that doesn’t fit your needs. We will advise you on what combination of software and custom coding will make it the easiest for you to manage everything associated with your website. MODX makes it easy to plug in just about anything you need to extend your site’s capabilities.

Here are some of the features we regularly set up for our clients:

  • Back end web management system tailored to your particular needs
  • Online purchasing and shopping cart integrations
  • Web-based newsletters and email template design
  • Integrations with emailing services (Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, Vertical Response, Constant Contact, etc.)
  • Member management systems
  • Responsive design for compatibility with all desktop and mobile devices
  • Integrated site search, updated in real time
  • Multilingual sites
  • Multi-domain setups
  • Web apps
  • Flexible photo album setup
  • Password-protected areas for members, staff, financial administrators, you name it
  • Multi-level user setup for different groups to edit different parts of the website
  • RSS feeds
  • Searchable databases for visitors doing research
  • Access to the online MODX user manual we created to provide training in all the basics of using this content management system

Our Design, or Yours

In addition to designing sites inhouse, we love partnering with other designers to help them fulfill their vision for the websites they want to create. Here’s a quote from one such designer:

“You’re the only programmer I know who I can trust to make the website look exactly like my design, with no compromises. If there are technical challenges up front, you always find a way to solve them.” — DG, Acton, Massachusetts

Collaborative on Health and the Environment—Very deep website, filled with information, featuring several types of blogs, news, searchable databases, calendar, chat-based interactive presentations, and lots of cross-site linking of related content.
